Since 1990 I have been involved in Conservation of wall
paintings, with special attention to historical plasters
and lime and clay based finishes.
.

Before working in this field I studied Painting at the
Academy of Fine Arts in Brera, Milan, where I graduated
in 1987.

I teach the technique of scagliola marble that I learned
in the years of study with the last of Italian Master
craftsmen from Rima (Piedmont, Italy), Silvio
Dellavedova.

I place at the disposition of my clients my long
experience of Conservation and Restoration – with my
uncommon knowledge of ancient materials – and also
my thirty year experience of Painting – where I use
natural based finishes applied with the most
appropriate technique.
I design and realize decorative interiors with materials
of the highest quality, using whenever possible the most
natural finishes rooted in tradition such as lime putty,
clays, tempera and casein.
Each decorative project grows like a fabric full of
details, which requires the use of certain materials
rather than others.

I also organize, on request, practical demonstrations of
the application of the following materials: lime, clay,
cocciopesto, tempera & casein.
